Export Bin

We manufacture Export bins (Pomanjou Bins) to international specifications.
Each bin is heat-treated to the ISPM-15 protocol and supplied with a HT-certificate as specified by DAFF.
Bin outer dimensions are: L1200 x W1000 x H750mm.
The lumber is PAR material used to have the least negative impact on exported fruit.

Standard Bulk Fruit Bin (4 slats)

The bins are made from high density Southern Cape SA Pine, mainly Pinus Radiata with known inherent qualities ideal for the manufacturing of bulk bins. Only lumber grades with a small knot-count, as well as minimal other timber defects are used. Lumber with defects are rejects in the manufacturing process, as defects will have a negative effect on the quality and strength of the bin.
Bin outer dimensions are: L1270 x W1070 x H727mm.
Bins are manufacturing with strengthen galvanized steel corner pieces with a thickness of 1.2mm. All screws used for assembly, are specially made with a thicker shaft, to prevent head breakage. All screws are yellow zinc plated to prevent rust formation.

Standard Bulk Fruit Bin (5 slats)

These bins are in many ways a clone of the 4-slats Standard bulk fruit bin, with the same inner and outer dimensions. The only difference being four narrower slats and one standard 4-slat bin slat, hence the five instead of 4 slats.
Bin outer dimensions are: L1270 x W1070 x H727mm.

Standard Bottling Bin

This bin was developed with maximum bottling capacity as its main objective. It can take the follow bottles more in relation to a standard bulk bin:

Plastic Bulk Fruit Bin (Jumbo)

This is a plastic bin with a difference! It addresses the main problem with plastic bins head-on, namely repair. The bin is built out of five main parts - 2 long side-panels, 2 short-side panels and a floor, with the feet clipped on separately. Repairing a bin, simply mean replacing the broken part and the bin will again have the same characteristics as a healthy bin.

The main characteristic of a traditional plastic bin is not compromised, as the bins hold the same volume of fruit than that of a traditional plastic bin.

It is design for faster drainage and cooling of fruit, with better than industry standard air- and waterflow characteristics.

Planter / Veggie Bin

The planter bin is purely for easy gardening. With an elevated bin tray, it is. easily accessible. Due to its confined dimensions, it saves a huge amount of water. Ideally used near your kitchen for that fresh salads, vegetables, or herbs.
Bin outer dimensions are: L1200 x W1000 x H800mm with a bin depth of 300mm.
